The Story of Sally Belle Designs
It has been said that the key to a successful vocation is loving what you do. Well, I LOVE being a wife and mom, and that aspect of my life thus far has been the greatest expression of who I am. However, with encouragement from the aforementioned family...I've decided to embark on a new venture.
I have always had a passion for photography (making those around me flee for cover from my ever present camera lens!) And I also love creating those memorable, meaningful moments in life...Christmas dinners, birthday parties, a gathering of dear friends, etc.
In pondering those two separate "loves," I stumbled upon something I can do to combine them. I have created a line of handmade (blank) greeting cards featuring my original photography. They range in theme, some of which include, romantic, whimsical, friendship and baby. I also have several cards featuring "Lancaster County" scenes, for that personal, local feel. And recently I've added a series for all my friends who enjoy that timeless hobby of knitting! (Ok - this was mainly for my mother...but I'll bet there are a bunch of knitters out there who would get a kick out of them too!)
I am currently in the process of meeting with local retailers to see if there is a place for these unique cards among their inventory. I will post here to keep everyone updated on where you can purchase if you are interested. This is an ever-evolving endeavor, so I will use this blog as the online home to keep everyone current.Please peruse my slideshows and come back often for updates!
